Overcome obstacles also for better nasal breathing

From June 12 to 13, the Spartan Race took place in Encamp, Andorra. In a spectacular setting, the participants in this edition of this obstacle course had the opportunity to demonstrate – each in their categories – their ability to overcome physically and mentally.

The event had a great participation success, where sport and fun went hand in hand.

We wondered if the participants – both professionals and amateurs alike – were aware that one of the main obstacles in improving their athletic performance may be nasal breathing.

Have you ever wondered what your physical activity entailed, in terms of the volume of oxygen “that they move”?

Have you had a nasal check, to verify that the air circulates through the nose with all the possible capacity?

Have you ever wondered if any discomfort – of lesser or greater severity – could be a symptom of bad nasal breathing (snoring, migraines, choking, arrhythmias …)?

Were you aware of the benefits to your performance, but also to your health and well-being, by paying regular attention to your nose?

One of the collaborators of the Maria Colomé Rhinological Clinic team —Andrea— had the opportunity to interview one of the participants in the Spartan Race, Marc Morte Corredera, participant in the Elite category.

Very soon we will share the full interview.

In the meantime…

What would have been your response?

Thank you very much, Marc, for your participation.

We want you to continue enjoying sports, improving brands and enjoying good health and quality of life.
